About Chair Blocks

As any musician will tell you, the last thing you need when you arrive at a venue ahead of a rehearsal and concert is that sinking feeling of wondering how you'll physically get through the day with a chair that is not designed with good posture in mind.

Unsuitable seating whilst playing an instrument can encourage poor posture and lead to discomfort with possible long term negative effects for the performer.

Chair Blocks have been designed to help musicians overcome this common problem. They have also been tried and tested by professional musicians at many venues with varying styles of chairs across the UK.

Each pair of Chair Blocks comes with two height options:

Amati Blocks raise at 22mm & 35mm

Strad Blocks raise at 35mm & 53mm.

All you have to do is flip the blocks to your required height.

I have designed and produced Chair Blocks based on my own experiences as a freelance violinist and hope that they will help others in alleviating the issues we as musicians face from venue to venue.

Leather cord is available as an optional extra to assist carrying your blocks on and off stage whilst also carrying your instrument.

If you have any questions then I am always happy to help - please contact me through any social media or email.

I hope you find them useful and thanks for visiting!

Tom
